We hold the rights to a number of innovative clean technologies that have what we believe to be significant application potential in many industries.
A critical component of our business model is our focus on incremental advances in technologies and business practices that enable increased and sustainable profits on relatively small infrastructure investments.
We are currently focused on delivering our technologies and process innovations to the Ethanol Production Industry with a view towards maximizing the yield of traditional corn-based ethanol production.
We intend to focus on the continued acquisition and commercialization of benchmark clean technologies that are compatible with our mission. In addition, and as we move beyond our current efforts in the Ethanol Production Industry, we intend to market our existing technologies and process innovations to other industries including the agriproducts, power generation, petrochemical refining, and municipal and industrial waste processing industries.
We also own several clean technology investments through our wholly-owned venture group, GS CleanTech Ventures, Inc. These investments include minority stakes in General Hydrogen Corporation, Ovation Products Corporation, and Aerogel Composite, Inc., and majority stakes in General Ultrasonics Corporation and GS Enviro, Inc. |
